I'm often amazed at the small little quips in life that kind of keep you moving forward. Even when things are systematically difficult in terms of society and general life there always seem to be those little moments that make you pause and realize, "Hey, this space in time ain't so bad after all". I had a moment like this today I'd like to share.

Generally I'm a shy person, or socially anxious but we aren't here to split hairs. When I'm alone or a midst a few friends I come out of my shell a bit. Today, in between my usual internet shenanigans and doing a little housework I decide it's time for a snack. On the way to the kitchen, in my absolute best He-Man voice I sing as loud as I can "HEY YEA YEA YEA YEA HEY YEA YEA YEA, What's going on!" Then I bend over and look into the fridge. And while rummaging in the fridge I hear our 38 year old African Grey parrot scream "HEY YEA YEA YEA YEA" then go "wooooooo". Pretty dumb founded at what just happened...I did the only thing I could do...I sang back "HEY YEA YEA YEA YEA HEY YEA YEA". Then the silliest bird I know laughed. I walked over to his cage and he tilted his head at me. I said "Touche bird, touche." He whistled and I walked away with some pineapple and a smile on my face.

So remember, no matter where you are what you are doing...someone is probably watching...or listening. Especially if you are acting like an idiot. Share the little things in life, they keep the motor running. Have a great day!
