An update:
After a great night of power leveling (thanks to Kull/Kain and Gale), I never got this error. One thing I did change was my memory frequency in the BIOs; it was set to a maximum of 1600 MHz when the RAM was rated for 2133 MHz. So I was thinking "hey, let’s make the maximum to 2133 MHz and see what happens". Sure enough I got this error, so I just changed it back to 1600 MHz. I do not know if this was really the fix or if it’s fixed at all.
